  • Aussie Pet Mobile’s philosophy is to offer a stress-free grooming experience for your loved pets. We pay special attention to older pets and pets with health issues. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our first priority. We will not perform any grooming procedure that causes pain or a level of stress that we think is excessive. This includes nail trimming in some situations. Senior pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort.

    Vaccinations:

    Aussie Pet Mobile requires your pet to have its current Rabies vaccination for every pet being groomed. While Aussie Pet Mobile adheres to a stringent procedure for all Vans and equipment, we also strongly advise that each dog be vaccinated against Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Distemper, Parainfluenza, and Bordetella and each cat be vaccinated against Parvovirus, Herpesvirus-1, Calicivirus prior to being groomed.

    Health & Medical Problems:

    You, the pet owner/caregiver, will advise us of any medical, physical, emotional issues, allergies, sensitivities or pre-existing conditions. The may include prior surgeries, hip or joint issues, warts, moles, ear infections or skin problems.

    Occasionally grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming. Upon the signature of this contract/agreement, you will cover all medical expenses for veterinary care.

    Senior Pets:

    Please understand that your pet(s) have medical condition(s) and/or is/are senior(s). You are aware that grooming can cause stress that can exaggerate or expose new problems, or even lead to a serious medical event or death. Please acknowledge there are mental and behavioral changes in senior pets or pets with medical conditions, and they are groomed for comfort only and not appearance.

    Accidents:

    Although accidents are very rare, there is a risk when dealing with animals. Grooming equipment is sharp. Though we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases, this can happen when an animal is wiggling or moving around. Your pet’s safety and comfort is our number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident.

    Behavioral Challenges:

    Aussie Pet Mobile has the right to refuse to groom any animals that may be a threat to itself or any person. If we are not able to take a cat out of its carrier or get a muzzle on a dog that may bite, then we may have to refuse it for its own protection and ours. The pet may get away or get injured if it is undergoing a great amount of stress. If we arrive at your property and your pet cannot be groomed for any reason a minimum $50.00 groom fee will apply.

    You will be held responsible for any bites that may require medical treatment and for any property damage caused by your pet. All bites will be reported to the local authorities as required by law. Aussie Pet Mobile does not use any type of tranquilizer on any pet.

    Pricing:

    Pricing is subject to change. Pricing varies according to each pet and is determined by breed, size, and condition of your pet. Prior to your appointment, we will confirm the treatment and the price with you.

    Damage of property:

    If your pet damages property in the salon, you may be charged for replacement or refurbishment at the discretion of the salon.

    Flea & Ticks:

    Aussie Pet Mobile strives to be a flea-free salon. If your pet has fleas or ticks, your pet will be given a flea bath at your expense of $20. There will be an additional $40 charge to cover the expense for fumigation of the premises. It is necessary to fumigate to prevent contamination to other pets in our care. If you do not want them to receive the flea bath, you can reschedule your appointment after the problem is taken care of by you.

    Shaving / Matting:

    Animals with severely matted coats require extra attention. Many times the skin is already so sore that the clipper may cut the skin, especially while taking mats off of a cat that has very thin skin. There is no way to avoid this, even though we are slow and careful. Aussie Pet Mobile is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions due to a matted coat. Your consent is required to perform this service.

    Appointments:

    We will always arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible, however, sometimes situations occur that will disrupt the daily grooming schedule. This includes traffic, weather, and mechanical difficulties, spending more time with an older/younger or difficult pet. Rushing to meet a schedule will never compromise the pet’s safety.

    You will be called and advised of an arrival time when schedules change beyond our control.

    Cancellations / No Shows:

    We require 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment. We will contact you by phone, voicemail or email to remind you of the appointment. Failure to call 24 hours in advance may result in a charge of $50.00 that must be paid prior to your next grooming appointment. If we show up for an appointment and there is no one home to release the pet, a $50.00 cancellation fee will apply.

    Satisfaction:

    Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy for any reason, and would like something adjusted, we will be happy to make any adjustments when you pick-up your pet from his/her appointment. Once, however, you take your pet home from the appointment, any return visits will be treated as a new appointment and you will be charged a grooming fee. All services and sales are final. There will be no refund.

    Photographs:

    This release form authorizes Aussie Pet Mobile to take photos of your pet for web content and social media.

    RELEASE

    I am the owner/caregiver of this/these pet(s), and I have read and understood the foregoing cautions, written above. I know that pet grooming may cause injury or allergic or other reaction to my pet(s), but I desire to have Aussie Pet Mobile and its employees, franchisees, or other representatives, from any responsibility or liability arising out of the performance of those services.

    I am solely responsible for any and all medical bills related to my pet(s). I understand that Aussie Pet Mobile has the best interest of my pet(s) in mind and will do everything to keep my pet(s) safe.

    I have read and accepted this release for the groom today and for all future grooming appointments.
